Recently, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, hailed by the British newspaper The Guardian as one of the "Seven Wonders of the Modern World," successfully achieved its closure, laying a solid foundation for the bridge to open to traffic. Upon completion, it will become the world's longest cross-sea bridge, enabling land-based connectivity among Zhuhai, Hong Kong, and Macao for the first time—and significantly reducing travel distances between these three regions.
The main bridge expansion devices are supplied by Maurer, models DS1760 and DS1200. Currently, the expansion devices have been shipped from Germany to the bridge construction site, and we are now preparing for installation work ahead of time.
As Maurers, we are proud to have the privilege of participating in the construction of this world-renowned bridge project—and deeply honored to contribute, however modestly, to China’s remarkable achievements in bridge engineering!
